Account Deletion

This page explains how to delete your Halv account and describes exactly what data is deleted and what is retained. Halv is developed by MAOLAB. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time, free of charge.

How to Delete Your Account

In the app (recommended):

Open Halv and go to Settings.
Tap Account.
Select Delete Account.
Confirm your request.

Deletion is processed immediately. Once you confirm, your account is removed and you are signed out.

Alternative: Request by Email

If you cannot access the app, email us at maolab@gethalv.com from your registered email address with the subject "Account Deletion Request". We will verify and process your request, and confirm by email within 30 days (typically much sooner).

What Data Is Deleted, and What Is Retained

When you delete your account, the following data is deleted immediately from our servers (and purged from encrypted backups within 30 days):

Profile	Name, email, macro goals, dietary mode, and allergy preferences	Deleted immediately
Saved recipes	Recipes you bookmarked and any meal-prep lists	Deleted immediately
Conversion history	Your calendar of converted recipes and daily records	Deleted immediately
Subscription records	Your Plus entitlement status and store-account mapping	Deleted immediately
Analytics identifiers	Anonymous usage identifiers linked to your account	Deleted immediately
Transaction records	Purchase and billing records (order IDs, dates, amounts) — required to be kept by tax and accounting law. These contain no recipes, profile, or usage data.	Retained up to 5 years, then deleted

Subscription Cancellation

Deleting your Halv account does not cancel app-store billing. If you have an active Plus subscription, cancel it separately through your Apple App Store or Google Play account to stop future charges.
